“Timeless” as it was the topic for today’s pics….
So guys, this is the first time “Ever”, I show my doodling to anyone. I always drew for my late grand mother, Caroline Christina Williams. The sweetest soul, I tell you. Our families soul food, prayer warrior. She would ask me to draw objects surrounding us, after Primary school in her lounge. Kept saying, “Oooooooooooh, nes die Abrahams”(just like the Abrahams). Which was her maiden surname. She mentioned that they were very creative, practical people and worked wonders with their hands. How I miss her. Thought I’ll give it a go, face my fears head on. SOOOOOOOO, at least now it’s over and done with. Feels like a huge freight train has just been lifted from my shoulders. Liberating, truly. Weird I know, that’s me 🤭 I was hospitalised, leading to anxiety as I no longer got a salary due to no sick leave. Carried on for almost two years. During treatment we had to draw, just let what we feeling on the inside out on paper. First time I drew anything since Lord alone knows when. All this emotion crept to the surface and I just broke into tears. Tears, which wouldn’t come for years. I’ll share that pic soon enough. “Leka doe does mense”, (Sleep sweet) mmmmmwahs 😘
Joy
Ever have someone walk into a room and it just lights up? You feel lighter, happier and relieved. You just find yourself smiling.
Fear Living
To feel every person’s emotions, is completely over whelming. To feel that every action, is physically happening to you. Not sure if what you feeling, is your own or somebody else’s. It’s alot, at times just too much.
